Bergen Apartment

During our short stay in Bergen, Norway we stayed right in the city in the perfect little Airbnb, which was very comfortable and centrally located.  It was a 5 minute walk from the Bergen City Light Rail, 2 minute walk from a shopping mall which had a grocery store, and roughly a 10 minute walk or less to the city center.  To get to-and-from the Bergen Airport to our Airbnb we took the Bergen City Light Rail (Bybanen), which is the cheapest option as well. It’s a 45 min ride and being that the Airport and city center are on opposite ends of the line, you really cannot miss your stop, talk about easy!

The Accommodations

It was a quaint 1 bedroom apartment on the second floor, with options to take the stairs or elevator.  The apartment had a washer and dryer which is a huge bonus, especially when you are packing light or in a very rainy city such as Bergen!  The furniture and décor was a combination of retro and simplistic, yet cozy. The bedroom had a comfortable bed, which may have been full size (not a queen) but we both had enough space to sleep comfortably.  The kitchen was a nice size and equipped with everything you need. Off the dinning/living room there is a nice size balcony with a table and chairs where you can sit and relax. We had access to free wifi, cable, Netflix, umbrellas (a necessity in Bergen), and a hairdryer-which is always a bonus for me, as it’s one less thing I have to worry about packing!

Not only would I recommend staying at this Airbnb but, I would stay there again if I get the chance to return to Bergen! If you want to know more about where we stayed feel free to message me and I will provide additional info.
